Hmmm, Kate Spade Handbags!

What can I tell you about Kate Spade that you don’t already know?

These are a few of the words that come to mind when describing Kate Spade handbags.

Maybe it helps to start out to know that Kate Spade started her business solely to make handbags? For her, handbags
weren’t the accessory sales add-on to a main line of shoes or clothes. Kate Spade was all about the bag. In the beginning, it was the tote bag. But enough about Kate Spade the company. Let’s talk about Kate Spade handbags, shall we?

Thankfully for all you handbagistas out there, Kate Spade has not limited her handbag styles to the six original totes for some time now. You can find Kate Spade bags in the following styles: evening, clutch, tote, shoulder, closed top, and open top bags. All in all, handbags will range from $125 to $500 a pop.

At a high level, Kate Spade divides her bags up based on their materials used: fashion (there is no limit to what goes in this bucket), leather, and nylon. For fashion, we’re talking about woven baskets to printed canvas to faux leopard designs.

In leather, Kate Spade handbags offers the geneva line for those croc addicts out there, beaune suede in colorful Italian suede, as well as a number of different leather lines, most in her signature bright colors such as pink, green and her classic black.

Nylon continues to be a mainstay for Kate Spade. She currently offers three variations of nylon Kate Spade handbags: dot noel, nylon and puffy nylon. The dot noel is the closest thing you’re going to get as far as a brand jacquard right now. The dotty fabric is woven in Italy and comes in pink, blue, or black. There are six handbag styles in this fabric finish, all of them
featuring leather trim. You could carry a cute small marine ($145) or pack your bags in a medium travis ($325).
